Summary

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority is the largest water and sewer utility in New Mexico, serving some 600,000 people in the metro area.  We are currently recruiting for a Environmental Manager to plan, prepare, oversee and carry out environmental and water resources projects. Perform complex analytical work to assess potential environmental threats to water sources, make recommendations for restoration or other improvements. Ensure compliance with all Federal, state and local regulations, ordinances and permits.

Minimum Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Water Resources, Biology, Chemistry or a related field plus seven years environmental, water resources or related experience to include two years supervisory experience in a management or administrative capacity.

·         Experience such as described in the job description may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
