Dear Utilities Professional:

Las Lagunitas Homeowners Association (LLHA) is announcing an immediate vacancy for Advanced Waste Water Treatment Operator.

 LLHA is a small development of 105 properties 3 miles south of Santa Fe City Limits. There are 48 homes utilizing 5 small cluster systems which vary from 800-1800 gallons per day. We are located just off I-25 at exit 272.

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Requires Small Advanced Wastewater Management license or better.  

·        At least 8 hours per week and available for emergencies

TASKS: 

        *Water Pumps--Replace pumps and screens of filters on pumps, check valves

        *Float switches—replace, clean, check for continuity

        * AIR Pumps—replace filters and replace carbon vanes inside

        * Trickle filters—replace and clean sprayers

        * Schedule and oversee pumping

        * Air diffusers—replace. Our diffusers are sections of porous hose (easy).

        * Relays—replace as needed. Occasionally, they burn out

        * PLCs (Programmable Logic Computers)—Helpful to have programming knowledge, Omron Zen and Bradly Micrologix 1100…Not a requirement but would be helpful.

         * Weeds- They grow fast due to moisture around the tank lids an junction boxes. They need trimming regularly

         * Complete sampling and testing per State Requirements

        * Keep the HOA Board and State updated on operations

       * Be available for emergency situations

      * Present Operator is retiring Jan 2025, but is available until then for advice, training and assistance

      *Compensation $40-50 start for a licensed contractor
