LEVEL 2 WATER AND/OR LEVEL 3 WASTE WATER OPERATOR

The
Village of Fort Sumner is seeking a

Water/Wastewater
Operator with a Level 2 Water and/or Level 3 Wastewater

Operator Certification,
or possess current Levels with ability to advance to required Levels. This
position requires work in the maintenance and construction of
water and wastewater lines involving performing manual tasks, reading meters,
locating and repairing leaks, making taps into the lines and the construction
of new lines. Performs a variety of technical duties related to the daily
operations, including processing and regulatory compliance. This position
includes supervision of field employees. All offers of employment are
contingent upon successful results of a pre-employment drug test, and
verification of a valid New Mexico Driver’s license. Salary is dependent on
experience and certification. Position is open until filled.
