Level 2 Water Operator Specialist required a Level 3 preferred

Looking for motivated individual to maintain and repair
small water system distribution system

Must have high school diploma or GED.

–
Experience on operating a backhoe, small tools
and equipment.

–
Experience in trenching and excavation procedure
and safety rules.

–
Minimum Level II Water Operator Certification
required a Level 3 preferred.

–
Experienced in water line repairs, new water
service installation from water main to meter can, fire hydrant maintenance,
installation of water lines.

–
Maintains good repair-parts inventory

–
Works in outdoors environment weather conditions

–
Will work on alternating on-call schedule on
weekends, Holidays.  May be called out on
off time.

–
Works safe and follows all safety rules

–
Good oral and written communication skills

–
Read water customer meters

–
Maintains clean organized shop and work area

–
Have working knowledge of computers

–
Working knowledge of water treatment.

–
Willing to learn Surface water treatment and
advance in level.

–
Good Driving Record

–
Pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Test.  Will be on random testing schedule.
