Public Works Director

Position plans, organizes,
manages, and supervises the work of the Village of Corona Public
Works Department. The Public Works Director is responsible for the
maintenance of Street, Water, Solid Waste, Wastewater and Natural Gas
Systems. Position requires the ability to operate heavy equipment.
Knowledge of basic OSHA guidelines for safety in confined entry,
trenching, heavy equipment operation, traffic control, state motor
vehicle laws and geographical layout of Village a plus. Work
requires long periods of physical exertion, agility, and dexterity.
Position performs other duties as required and must be available to
respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour basis. Will be responsible
for the proper
documentation including operator log, maintenance records, and safety
logs pertaining to the Natural Gas, Water, and Wastewater Systems.
Will be responsible for all reporting to the local, state, and
federal agencies for the Natural Gas, Water, Wastewater, and Solid
Waste Systems. Position is a 40 hr/week
position with possible overtime as directed by the Mayor. A more
