Certification Exams
Your application must be postmarked at least 30 days prior to the certification exam date. Sign up for exams with the New Mexico Environment Department, Facility Operations Section. Click on the link below to access the application form and other material from the Facility Operations Section. We cannot register you for exams through our office.
Be sure to bring the registration postcard that will be mailed to you by NMED, and one form of photo identification to the exam. NMRWA offers mock exam sessions throughout the state to better prepare you for the operator certification exam. You may also qualify for reimbursement of your exam fee if you are an authorized representative of a water system serving less than 3,300 persons.
