District Manager / Operator - Grand Water & Sewer Service Agency - Moab, Utah
GWSSA has an immediate opening for District Manger / Operator. The District is located in the Canyonlands / Arches region of SE Utah, a mecca for outdoor recreation. The position reports to a multi-district Board and is responsible for all aspects of operation and maintenance. The District operates a 1600 connection ground water and wastewater collection system, 2600 AF reservoir, and pressurized irrigation system. The successful candidate must have experience with the budget process, personnel administration, compliance with State and Federal Regulations, operation of ground water distribution and wastewater collection systems, SCADA controlled instrumentation, and infrastructure installation. Appropriate Utah State certification required within six months of hire. Wastewater Operator - City of Tucumcari
The City of Tucumcari is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Operator. Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED, and valid New Mexico Drivers license with no major driving infractions. Applicants must have or be eligible to obtain Wastewater Systems Operator Certification up to and including Level IV issued by the New Mexico Environmental Department. Preference will be given to those with current Wastewater operator certification. Responsibilities include: Operations and maintenance of Wastewater Treatment plant and lift stations with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required. Water Utility Assistant
Job responsibilities include maintenance, repair, operation of Domestic water facilities and related equipment. Assist in reading meters. Must be able to work under general supervision with the ability to perform tasks independently. Must be able to lift over 75 lbs and have a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
